Accounting and Business in the Age of AI Transformation

The Asian-Pacific Conference on International Accounting Issues will be held from November 15–17, 2026, at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, Big Island, Hawaii.

This long-standing international conference provides an important forum for the exchange of ideas between academics and practitioners to enhance the understanding of global accounting and business issues. The 2026 theme emphasizes the evolving role of accounting and business in an era of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and sustainability challenges.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Each participant is required to submit both an Abstract and a Full Paper through the online submission portal.

Key Requirements

  •  The Full Paper should not exceed 35 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
  •  PhD students are encouraged to participate by submitting either their thesis proposal or, if further along, a paper drawn from their dissertation research.
  •  All papers must be original and unpublished.
     

Submission Instructions

  1.  Click “Submit Paper” on the conference website. 
  2.  Create an account.
  3.  Complete all required fields and upload your Abstract and Full Paper as separate files.
  4.  The Abstract should be a single paragraph of 150–250 words, limited to one page.
  5.  The Full Paper should not exceed 35 pages.
     

Formatting Requirements

  •  Paper Size: Letter (8.5” x 11”) with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  •  Font: Times New Roman, 12-point, single spaced, flush left (no tabs).
  •  Title: Centered, bold, all caps; single-spaced if longer than one line.
  •  Authors, Titles, and Affiliations: Centered, bold, and listed in order of authorship.
  •  Include all co-author information during submission. 
  •  A confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours of successful submission.

Important Dates

  •  Submission Deadline: May 18, 2026
  •  Notification of Outcome: June 30, 2026

Review and Publication

  •  Abstracts without full papers will not be reviewed.
  •  All submissions will undergo a blind peer-review process.
  •  Submission implies that the manuscript is not copyrighted and has not been published elsewhere.

Please note that if you are a co-author of multiple accepted papers, at least one co-author per paper must register to present.
